Requires 1 or more years hospitality management experience
Food and Beverage experience required
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Able to utilize POS systems, good knowledge of computer.
To ensure the guest is greeted and served promptly. Assists the Outlet manager and their subordinates with the operation of the out let and staff supervision. Oversees the staff to ensure maximum service is extended to the guest. And all side duties carried out.
Responsibilities
1. They must be fully familiar with the operation of the outlet, correct procedures and duties of subordinates.
2. Can takes orders and make sure that staff without delays, are serving orders.
3. Handles minor complaints and reports them to the Manager/ess or their assistant for proper action.
4. Checks staff assignments prior to and during service.
5. Have a good knowledge of all relevant product items.
6. Have a thorough knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.
7. They are responsive to constructive criticism by their Supervisors.
8. Ensures smooth co-operation between the outlets.
9. Checks cleanliness of their outlet both front-of-house and back-of-house.
10. Checks maintenance schedule and follow-up on job orders to be completed.
11. Have a clear understanding of companies? staff?s handbook and the regulations stated within.
12. Monitors all staff for punctuality, grooming and can brief staff in a daily basis (if required).
13. Ensures all of the outlets operational equipment is on hand and all stock levels are fully stocked for daily operation.
14. They must be able to delegate staff and be able to utilize them for optimum productivity at all times.
15. Greets and seats guests (Whenever possible) in a courteous manner.
16. Engages in suggestive selling.
17. Presents the guest?s bill (Whenever possible)
18. Clears the tables and resets as necessary.
19. Sets the example by adhering to all rules and regulations set by Management while on duty.
20. Should be able to handle telephone calls in polite and helpful manner.
21. Liaise with the Management on all service related problems they aware of.
22. Works as a team member and offers help when needed.
23. Must have good communication with staff and their superiors and build a good team spirit.
